Getting to my @thewoodlandpixie 12 days of xmas spin finally 😂 I asked for a surprise (sparkle and no sparkle) and so pleasantly happy with the merry whimsical sparkles.

Life has been full extra full this past year. Its wild coming up on the year anniversary of briar coming home from spring break and then....staying home. A year of this walking a balance beam of home education, running a business, moving, and for the past six months tending an acreage.

Full indeed.

The house feels strangely empty today.

I came here with my life in 2 suit cases and my dog.

Yesterday tankie passed. It feels very surreal after having her as a constant for the last decade of my life.

It was not easy or peaceful, she fought sedation until the end. Everything feels numb and yet raw. It'll pass. I am familiar enough with grief that it comes in surges.
